It's May and it's time for another band of the month! This month we've decided to spotlight a band that many of us here at RIFF2 think are absolutely amazing! NOMAN!!



This band was born out of the band Blackbird Suite, who broke up on New Years 2007. (which was very upsetting to some of us here...) Fortunately for us, and for you, Andrew and Robbie couldn't stop making music and so they found Shane to man the drums and formed Noman.

They released an EP in spring of 2007, and in the summer went on a US tour where they recorded tracks for a full length album. We here at RIFF2 were so into them, that we asked them to play our RIFF2 stage at ARTS BEATS & EATS and they said yes. (We seem to remember Suzy standing right in front of the stage jamming out the entire time!)



In early 2008, NOMAN relased thier first full length cd called "Breaking In"...it's awesome...and just to prove it, we're making them RIFF2's Band Of The Month for May!
